Terms and Conditions of Business

All our events must be paid in advance.

Attendees

  • Event attendance must be booked 7 days in advance of the event.
  • Event attendance must be paid in full 7 days in advance of the event (“The Due Date”).
  • Cancellations must be made 72 hours in advance of the event (“The Cancellation Period”) otherwise full payment will be due and retained.

Exhibitors

  • Exhibitor bookings must be made 8 weeks in advance of the event.
  • Exhibitor bookings must be paid in full 4 weeks in advance of the event (“The Due Date”).
  • Cancellations must be made 4 weeks in advance of the event (“The Cancellation Period”) otherwise full payment will due and retained.
  • If full payment is not received 4 weeks in advance of the event, exhibitors will be deemed to have relinquished their booking but full payment will still be due.

Refunds

  • Should an attendee or exhibitor cancel their booking in advance of “the Cancellation Period” then a full refund of all monies paid will be issued.
  • Should Engage Your Business cancel an event then a full refund of all monies paid will be issued.

Non-payment

  • In the event on non-payment by “The Due Date”, then Engage Your Business Ltd reserves the right to levy an additional charge of £40 (Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998).  Engage Your Business Ltd also reserves the right to charge interest at 5% above base rate per day on outstanding debts.  Engage Your Business Ltd further reserves the right to charge all costs associated with debt recovery.

Please note that whilst every effort is made to ensure that attendees (e.g. delegates, speakers, exhibitors) at our events are of a suitable business nature, we do not accept any responsibility for any transactions conducted between attendees, nor do we accept any responsibility for the behavior of any attendee.
